Eric Deflandre thinks Anderlecht has a chance at Lyon, where he played from 2000 until 2004. “From my time, only Clerc, Réveillère and Govou are left,” Deflandre says.

"Lately they lost a lot of quality,” he says in Gazet van Antwerpen. “This isn’t the big Lyon it used to be. Last year they ended third in France and it will only get more and more difficult to become number one. Marseille and PSG invest a lot of money in it.”."

"The most dangerous players are Bastos and Gomis, but the last one isn’t in a good shape. “One point, or even a victory isn’t impossible, but they’ll have to play their proper game. Because who chooses to defend, will lose.”
