Nicolas Frutos didn’t play against Cercle on Saturday and trained individually the past few days. “But I’m not injured again,” he reassures everyone, “I’m working on my physical condition now and I can’t do that in group.”

Half July Frutos arrived in Belgium and missed the biggest part of the preparation like that. “That’s why it’s important to work on my condition,” says Frutos on rsca.be. “It’s against muscle injuries, that’s the most important right now.”

"I’ll keep working like this for a couple of months. That’s also why I’m training individually. Because the programme I’m following now, is totally different than what the group does.”

"The injury at my Achilles’ tendon is almost history, I feel it’s going better every day,” Frutos says. Does this mean he’ll play against Lyon? “That depends how I’m feeling. But I do think I can mean something in France.”
