Gillet: "Get used to a place on the bench"

Guillaume Gillet started the first games of the season on the bench. “It feels weird, but I understand,” says de midfielder. “However, I hope to be a part of the team this weekend.”

"Because of a neck injury I missed the beginning of the preparation,” says Gillet in Het Laatste Nieuws. “That’s why I wasn’t fit 100% and so Jacobs put me on the bench.”

During his first year and a half at Anderlecht, he always started the games. “I have to get used to watching a game from the other side. But I’m working very hard to be a part of the team again.”

On Saturday, Anderlecht has to play against Westerlo. “I hope I play. This game ,right before those against Lyon, will be very important.”
