Mazuch wants a new start for his career

As from today, the young defender is officially from Anderlecht. Yesterday Ondrej finished his physical tests and will sign his contract for one year with a option to buy him.

”I’m happy I can start my career again. At Fiorentina I was at sidetrack,” the 20-year old defender says.

"Actually, Fiorentina wasn’t a good choice. As 17-year old, I was a bit too young to play at an Italian topclub. Obviously my fellow-countrymen Zitka and Polak influenced my choice. I also talked to Vlcek and he gave me a nice description of the club. E-And I’ve looked at what they’ve reached: impressive!”

“Gradually I want to have place in the team. My best position is central in the back, but if I need to, I’ll help the team left or right.”
