Collegues find Deschacht most underestimated player

Sport/Voetbalmagazine published a big questionnaire on the players of the first division. The results tell us most of them are against football during the winter and play-offs. Deschacht is named the most underestimated player.

Two third of the 303 questioned players isn’t interested in a league with play-offs. And 81% is against football at Christmas.

What the biggest problem is, 24.7% answered the uncomfortable stadiums. The referees (19.9%) and the board of the clubs( 16.4%) are at place two and three. The questionnaire also made it clear that more players are for a Beneliga, 40.3% against 35.7%.

The players were also asked some sports like questions. Laszlo Bölöni seems to be the most popular coach, 36.3% of the players would want him as a trainer. On the other hand, Anderlecht (with 24.7%) is the team where most players would like to play for. Olivier Deschacht seems to be the most underestimated player of the league (4.3%), Thomas Chatelle is at number three with 2.0%. Strange is that Deschacht is also in the list of most overestimated players, he ended with 5.3%. Axel Witsel was number one with 12.9%.

Racing Genk has the most beautiful stadium (39.5%), followed by Anderlecht (28.4%). 54.2% feels Standard has the best fans, before KV Mechelen and Anderlecht (4.7%).

At last, 71.2% wants referees to get electronic help.
