Herman Van Holsbeeck wants to give the youth more chances. Especially Lukaku, Sare and Reynaldo are close to the A-team. Second trainer Daniel Renders and coach of the B-team Johan Walem evaluate the three.

Romelu Lukaku: "Romelu can play with both feet, scores easily and makes a lot of impression physically. He’s very young and can still make a lot of progress,” says Walem. “We’ll have to bring him into the A-team carefully and see how he can deal with the amount of trainings,” says Renders. “He has a good future ahead of him, but we can’t forget he just turned 16 and is still going to school. We have to watch out with him.”

Bakary Sare: "Bouba made a big step ahead this season,” Renders knows. “Each time we used him, he was very present. He’s ready to help out the team next year. He know what he can do, but more important, he knows what he cannot do. You can compare him with Charly Musonda, but a better kick-technique.”

Reynaldo: "Our Brazilian is our number 10 and can play on a lot of places,” says Renders. “He’s a bit light, but can dribble very well. He’s also fast. The only thing he has to learn is to be decisive in front of the goal. He still has a lot to learn, but we hope he will bring us a lot of joy next season.”
