Van Holsbeeck: "Continue with Jacobs"

Herman Van Holsbeeck doesn’t blame Jacobs after losing the title. “It’s too easy to say it’s his fault,’ the manager says. “Also the board is responsible for the results.”

“It was a choice of the club to not replace Frutos. That’s why we played CL with two 19-year old strikers who weren’t ready.” Van Holsbeeck says in Gazet van Antwerpen.

”Ariël Jacobs is a man with a lot of qualities. People who work with him on a daily basis can see that. And we would like to have him with us next season.”
