Vlcek: "Returning with a title would be brilliant”

Before the game against Roeselare Stanislav Vlcek was thanked for his prestations at Anderlecht. “I was very emotional, I didn’t expect this,” says Stani, who returns to Slavia Prague.

The striker always had a good contact with the fans. “Already since the beginning the welcomed me with open arms,” he says to La Dernière Heure. “During the game against Bergen I was touched when the trainer got me of the field after 33 minutes and the fans – in stead of shouting at me – were calling my name. I’d like to thank them for that as well. By the way, thanks to everyone at Anderlecht. When I needed something, I got it immediately.”

"I hope my best memory of Anderlecht still has to come: it would be fantastic to return to Slavia with a title. I’ll miss Anderlecht. And especially Daniel Zitka. He’s a real friend to me, I think I’ll call him every day.”
