Van Damme: "Had trouble scoring"

After the draw against Tubize, the Anderlecht – team didn’t know whether to be relieved or disappointed. “We had mixed feelings,” said Jelle Van Damme.

“It’s really too bad we couldn’t benefit from the loss of Standard, but eventually we are relieved that we ended the game with 1 point. Now everything is still possible.”

“At one moment it was looking really bad: 1-0 and with 10 against 11… It was difficult to score today,” Jelle said. “One goal during the first half would have changed the whole game. Tubize was just very strong. They played for their lives and we didn’t want it enough.”
