Olivier Deschacht said before the games against Brugge and Westerlo that the title would be for Anderlecht if they would win those games. “I still think the same,” the captain says.

“The most important thing still has to come, but we’ve already had the most difficult one. I don’t take in account test games. Standard has to go to Waregem and Gent, teams who compete for European football. If we win everything, it has to work out.”

"Everyone know what we have to do: win the title. Of course that brings along stress. We don’t even laugh after a victory. We already think about the next game,” he continues.

He also praises Tom De Sutter: ‘Tom does everything, he defends, he scores, … What he’s done for us, is great. If he asks me to go by bike to Brugge after winning the title, I’ll do it.”
