Gillet: "Should have finished it much sooner"

Anderlecht dominated the game on Westerlo yesterday, but forgot to score so it was nerve-racking until the end of the game. “We deserved the victory,” says Guillaume Gillet.

“We scared ourselves by not scoring enough. We should have finished it much sooner. It’s positive that we continue to play like the last few games. Just like against Bruges we were leading the game. However, it’s annoying that Standard plays before us now. It gives us extra pressure,” says Gillet.
