Izaguirre is Anderlecht's new left back

Anderlecht found a new left back in Honduras: Emilio Izaguirre. The Mauves became interested in the 22 year old defender after a hint of Victor Bernardez. Izaguirre has been playing for Motagua since 2004.


Despite his young age (22), he has already 28 A-caps. Izaguirre, the best player in the Hondurian league, is an offensive left back with excellent skill and a good center.

Izaguirre will probably come to Brussels for testing first, just like Bernadez. If the Mauves are convinced, he'll be offered a contract. He's expected in Belgium next week.
