Vlcek to return to Slavia Prague

It has been made official: Stanislav Vlcek will return to his former club Slavia Prague. That's what the Czech club announced today. The 33 year old Vlcek signed for two seasons.


The striker's contract ends in June and Anderlecht decided not to extend the current deal. Vlcek scored 10 goals for Anderlecht since his arrival in January 2008. Most of them last season though, where he scored a few important ones for the Brussels' club. This season, he hardly got a chance to play.
