Reactions after RSCA-Standard

After the game, all Anderlecht players and staff were happy with the victory. The first step towards a new title has been taken. Though the gap with Standard is only four points, so alertness is a necessity.


Coach Jacobs: "The victory is of course nice. But the two goals we gave away were way too easy. The first half wasn't so good either. We were behind twice but we still managed to win against a strong team like Standard."

Midfielder Boussoufa: "The media named me 'the prince of Anderlecht'. That's nice! But I'm especially happy with the three points. It shows how strong we are."

Manager Van Holsbeeck: "I felt the team was capable of doing great things. We were criticized a lot. We didn't play well, but we took the right steps. Right now, we are the best team in the country. The way for the title is still long, but we've taken the first steps."
