Asare close to deal with Anderlecht

Nana Asare will most likely join Anderlecht by the start of next season. Because of the transfer of Cor Gillis to KV Mechelen, Asare's case was speeded up. Anderlecht will have to pay one million for the left winger.


Meanwhile, Standard de Liège tried to land the player. The Belgian champions wanted to swap Asare for goalkeeper De Vriendt. There was also a Russian bid of 3 million, but KV Mechelen declared they want to do business with Anderlecht and maintain the good relationship between both clubs.
