Michaël Cordier is a living proof of how fast things can change in football. "One month ago I was third goalkeeper in second division and now I’m the second goalie at the biggest team in Belgium," he smiles.

"I am really happy with this chance. It’s great that Anderlecht has so much trust in my qualities. I want to make up for the lost time in Brussels as soon as possible," says Cordier in Gazet van Antwerpen.

"I’ve been really deep," he says, about his time in FC Brussels. "When I woke up in the morning I didn’t want to train at all. At a certain time I even thought of quitting. At Brussels I was fed up with football. No matter how hard I worked, I never played. I was put aside just like that.. Why, I don’t know, but in the end it made me stronger."

"The next few months I’m going to work as hard as possible. Hopefully I can convince everyone to give me a contract. Next season I would like to be in the team together with Silvio Proto."
