Proto not back to Anderlecht

Proto won't return to Anderlecht after the winter break. GBA and Anderlecht could not come to an agreement. Silvio will stay in Antwerp on loan until June. GBA wanted Chatelle or Kruiswijk in exchange, which was unacceptable.


Earlier today, manager Van Holsbeeck had already announced his club wouldn't pay for a return of the Belgian goalie. It's not yet known what the club will do now in their search for a new goalkeeper.

Proto himself is happy in Antwerp, but he also regrets the fact that he missed a chance of becoming Anderlecht's first goalkeeper, which was his ambition when he first joined the Brussels' club.
