No deal about Proto

Anderlecht and GBA couldn't come to an agreement about the return of Silvio Proto. The players that the Mauves offered in exchange for Proto are not sufficient for the Antwerp club. The negotiations continue tomorrow.


"We are far from an agreement. Anderlecht doesn't have much to offer", said vice-chairman of GBA, Snelders. Germinal Beerschot wants a central defender and a right winger, but also Anderlecht is lacking those kind of players. "Maybe Anderlecht can use its connections for getting us one of those players. A replacement for Proto is fine too", reacted Snelders.
