In an interview with La Dernière Heure, Lucas Biglia admitted that he hasn't been playing the best he can, "as you know, it's not the first time I've had a bad match". He talked about the factors affecting his game.
The death of Biglia's father in July had a severe impact on him, "Losing my father affected me very badly. It affected my mood, my confidence and my physical condition. It wasn't nice to have my younger brothers on the phone and hear them crying. After the elimination against BATE [in the Champions League Qualifying], I wanted to return to Argentina."The Argentinian midfielder also talked about his injuries that affected his performances, "I'm not at my best form. I had two consecutive injuries. That was the first time that had happened to me, and it was not easy to manage"
