During Studio 1 show broadcasted monday on belgian TV, some suggested Jonathan Legear had a certain way of life that a professional player couldn't have. « He should go to bed earlier » was heard. Jonathan wants to make it clear.
« I don't want to talk about what has been said in the show » explains the winger. « I agree I can be criticized about the way I play. But people cannot talk about privacy. And those things I've heard were totally wrong. I admit I did a few stupid things when I was between 17 and 19 but it has now been two years I live like a pro. I live in Brussels in weekdays, why would I hang out in Milennium club, like some said at studio 1 ? I like enjoying a drink after a game, but I'm only 21 and I want to enjoy it. Am I fragile ? Sure. But what about Mbo Mpenza, Chatelle and Proto ? Those are real pros ! »
