Anderlecht wants to change its juridical status. The club is now searching for new investors. This is a serious change for the club, that has been run by the family Vanden Stock since 1969.

A modern club can't be run only at a familial level anymore. So a few months after charismatic president Constant Vanden Stock passed away, Anderlecht wants to attract new investors that won't be a part of the family Vanden Stock.

Chairman Vanden Stock is clearly not about to sell the club. Turning from a non-profit association into a private company would allow new shareholders to invest in the club. Roger Vanden Stock wants to keep 51% of it, so 49% would be in new people's hands.

Anderlecht without the Vanden Stock family on the long run is no utopia anymore.
