Anderlecht defeated Mons yesterday. The final score was 1-2 with goals of Wasilewski and Gillet for the Belgian vice champions. Though it was the home side that had opened the score in the first half.


The game was far from good, with only a few efforts on goal over the total 90 minutes. Though with this victory, the Mauves assured their second place in the ranking, after Mouscron that surprisingly beat Gent (4-2).
