Belgium took a good point in Turkey Yesterday and can keep hoping for a qualification to the world cup 2010. The squad was focused on its game and never seemed to be confused by the noisy and hostile turkish fans.

Sonck opened the score for Belgium from a great header in the box after half an hour. The Turkish selection put then more pressure on the belgian defence but were not very dangerous. Fellaini was close to make it 0-2 from a header but the ball was saved on the line.

Instead of a confortable advantage, Belgium was striked onceagain by fate. At the 74th minute, Witsel got a shoot on his arms in the box and the french referee gave a penalty Emre converted. 1-1 was the final score. Turkey and Belgium are 2nd of the group (4 points) behind Spain (6 points).
