The biggest offer came from Borussia Dortmund that wanted to spend 7,5 millions € to get Czech international Jan Polak. Accoding to German sources, Dortmund was looking for an additional midfielder and contacted RSCA.

Anderlecht have apparently refused a 2,5 million transfer fee from West Brom for Stanislav Vlcek too. The English squad also wanted to hire Igor de Camargo, the striker from Standard de Liège.

The young Argentinian talent Mathias Suarez, who is only in Brussels since July, was to be followed by Benfica Lisbon. The Portuguese offered 5 million to get Anderlecht's new striker, but again, he is still in the RSCA squad.

So Anderlecht could have earned a total of 15 million in a single night.
