Belgian selection for international games

Federal coach René Vandereycken announced his selection for the World Cup qualification games against Estonia and Turkey. Nabil Dirar is the only newcomer in the selection. Tchité is also selected.

Defenders: Daems (Mongengladbach), De Man (Roda), Hoefkens (West Bromwich), Kompany (Manchester City), Swerts (AZ Alkmaar), Van Buyten (Bayern Munchen), Van Damme (Anderlecht), Vermaelen (Ajax), Vertonghen (Ajax).

Midfielders: Defour (Standard), Dirar (Club Brugge), Fellaini (Standard), Haroun (GBA), Mudingayi (Bologna), Simons (PSV), Witsel (Standard).

Strikers: Dembele (AZ Alkmaar), De Sutter (Cercle Brugge), Huysegems (FC Twente), Mirallas (Lille) Sonck (Club Brugge), Tchité (Santander).
