FC Brussels has become champion of the Second League on Sunday, after a 4-0 win against Denderleeuw. They will play in the First League next season.

The foundation number 1936 has got 67 points now, one match before the end of the season. That are 5 points more than first competitors Roeselare and Oostende.

Roeselare jumps over Oostende, because it has won more matches. Oostende reached a 3-3 draw against Zulte-Waregem. Roeselare beat Wezet with 1-0. It's the first title for Brussels, because it's a new club that plays with the foundation number of Strombeek, and plays in the Edmont Machtensstadium of RWDM. Goalgetter is Ibrahim Tankary, with 17 goals. Dieter Dekelver scored one goal less. Other well-known players are Didier Ernst (former Standard-player), goalkeeper Patrick Nijs (former Lierse and Gençlerbirligi) and Tim Reigel (rented by GBA).
