Despite the 0-3 victory of Anderlecht against Cercle Brugge, coach Ariël Jacobs didn't feel like talking much after the game. "I just want to thank the supporters", he said.

During the last few days, Anderlecht has gotten harsh criticism in the press, and that doesn't please the coach. "It's normal that when you lose, you get critisicm. Our supporters were cheering for us in the game against Standard, even after the European defeat against BATE, and then we lose that game as well. And then today, they were cheering for us again."

"That gave the players lots of confidence, all the rest doesn't really matter," he said.

During the second half, there was an incident with Jonathan Legaer. "After he scored the 0-2, he neglected his positioning. At times he has concentration problems. He wants to play offensive, but then he puts too much energy in his defensive tasks. But he could put much less energy in that, if he would take care of his positioning more."
