Rnic and Suarez couldn't prove themselves against Union, but Ariël Jacobs didn't disapprove them yet. The eleven players of Saturday where not at all a B-team.

The match was especially important for four players whom could start in the return against Bate.
Their names: Rnic, Deschacht, Biglia and Suarez. Only Deschacht could persuade. Rnic gave lots of bad passes and the goal against could be blame to him. Biglia lost too many balls. Suarez opened the score with an easy goal but was the rest of the match invisible.

Jacobs puts into perspective: "It was trainingsmatch. I wanted that some players could play 90 minutes. I couldn't experiment because I had too few midfielders. The result is not important, but nevertheless we would have had scored more. I don't judge the performance of Rnic and Suarez based on this match."

At present Suarez seem not ready for such an important match such as these against Bate. Therefore Kanu must start. The question remains if Biglia will becomes titular if Gillet replaces Wasilewski and if Deschacht re-enters the team.
