Nicolas Frutos will continue his recovery in Argentina. "It's a decision in dialogue with the medical staff and Frutos", says coach Ariël Jacobs in Het Laatste Nieuws.

"For the moment a new operation is not under discussion. The most important for now is to heal the inflammation of his Achilles tendon", says Jacobs, who is the only one who may communicate concerning the injury of Frutos.

"We haven't put a deadline on his recovery".

According to Het Laatste Nieuws Frutos doesn't have no more faith in the medical staff of Anderlecht. He has rejected the proposal to recover in Belgium and wants to work in Argentina with a well-known physiotherapist osteopath. "Frutos leaves at last Monday to Argentinië", thus Jacobs.

Manager Herman Van Holsbeeck also contested the rumour that Anderlecht is trying to get Frutos ready for that return against BATE Borisov. "I don't know where that story comes from but that is absolutely out of the question.", says Van Holsbeeck. "Thursday I spoke with Frutos and he is still very down, especially mentally. We will quietly let him recover and afterwards we will see."
