Ajax cancels appointment with Anderlecht

Ajax has canceled an appointment with Anderlecht on Wednesday. A delegation of the Mauves wanted to go to Amsterdam to talk about a possible transfer of Wesley Sonck and Jelle Van Damme.

"The moment we heard that they wanted to discuss that, we canceled the appointment", says Arie van Eijden.
According to the general director, who didn't know that this was the goal of the trip to Amsterdam by Anderlecht, there hasn't been made a decision about the future of the two Belgian players. Before that decision, he doesn't want to talk to interested teams.
