Pieroni may stay after all

Van Holsbeeck and Pieroni's manager negotiated yesterday about the striker's future. Anderlecht are not prepared to pay 1.2 million euro for the player. But Pieroni is optimistic: "Maybe my future still lies in Anderlecht."


There are two things that have to change to allow Pieroni to stay in Brussels. First of all, his salary has to decrease. Further, his current club Nantes, has to lower the transfer fee to 800,000 euro.

Meanwhile, Dynamo Bucharest are showing interest in Pieroni, but the player hopes to stay in Belgium.
