Reformation of the Belgian league !

Today, the Belgian Football Organisation decided over a reformation of the highest division. From the season of 2009-2010, the first division will count only 16 teams and there will be a play-off.


Next season, the numbers 17 and 18 will relegate. The numbers 15 and 16 will play against two second division teams. The winner of those play-offs will play in the first division the season after, along with the champion of second division.

The play-offs to determine the champion and the European tickets, still has to be given shape.
