Van Damme wants rest, Legear on medical control

Jelle Van Damme asked national trainer René Vandereycken for rest and as a consequence, he was not selected for the game against Italy. "He has a medical problem for weeks now", so the national coach.

"He plays, but isn't always able to train. That asks for rest. That's why we agreed not to select him against Italy", explains the national coach.

Jonathan Legear is still bothered by a contracture at the quadriceps. He will undergo a control echo tomorrow, friday 16th May.
