Next season, Ariël Jacobs will remain head coach. But if it hadn't been up to him, he would be T2 again. That is what the coach said in today's edition of "La Denière Heure"

"I've informed the club in february-march that I would like to become assistant again in order to ensure the continuity of the sportive direction", tells Jacobs, "it is the best way to guarantee a certain stability. And if the club has taken contact with Van Gaal or with Vergoossen, it's because I asked them to do so. But the club wants to continue with me no matter what. There are only a few details remaining that have to be dealt with."

Being a technical director doesn't interest Jacobs. "First of all, I'm a man of the field, and secondly, there are some aspects of the job like the financial side of the transfers, that I don't feel well with. Whether you have commercial talents or you don't. Well, I don't have it in me."
