Ahmed Hassan wants to shine one last time

It has been busy times for Hassan. Today he celebrates his birthday and tommorow is the important game against Club Brugge. He wants to show the Anderlecht faithful one last time what he is capable of.


"I really feel like playing" says Hassan in "Het Laatste Nieuws". "In a match like this, you can use experienced players. I'm confident that we are the better side, we are the best team of the second round".

The Egyptian wants to show the Anderlecht supporters once more what he is capable of. "The fans have always been terrific support, I want to thank them one last time. I want to leave the Constant Vanden Stock stadium the way I entrered it, through the big gate".

"I think I left my mark here. These 2 years have been the best of my career. I have won the title, the supercup twice, and the Africa Cup. I have 2 remaining goals now: the second place and the Cup" so Hassan says.

"This Saturday, a lot of memory's of the last 2 years will be running through my head. This was an unforgettable period for me, I don't regret anything, not even that I didn't win the Golden Boot. What I'm going to do after my career? I probably will become a trainer".
