KIA wants to help to keep Boussoufa in Anderlecht

Car builder KIA offered Anderlecht to pay a part of Boussoufa's salary. Boussoufa can go to Newcastle and earn more, but KIA wants to compensate the difference. In exchange, the company wants Boussoufa in its commercials.


Benoît Morenne of KIA explains: "Two other companies want to help overcoming the difference in Boussoufa's salary. That way, we can keep our top players in Belgium. In exchange, my company benefits from the publicity."

Manager Van Holsbeeck denies the rumours: "I haven't heard from KIA yet. It's a remarkable proposal, but I don't know if it is a good idea."
