Anthony Vanden Borre, who played a very strong match as right defender against Standard on Friday, was very disappointed that they called him a 'braggart' during the football programme 'Match 1' on RTBF.

"It's a cause of my red card during the youth interland against Ireland two weeks ago", said Vanden Borre. "I was disappointed because we were behind and because I was playing a poor bad as captain. After a doubtful throw-out, I kicked someone, and received a red card. Foolish of me, I know. Frankie Vercauteren was angry at me after the match. But is that the reason why I'm a braggart?"

He wasn't very nervous during his first topmatch. "I was impressed by the great atmosphere, but after the kick off, those emotions were gone. When I played in my quarter with my friends against some boys of another quarter, I felt more pressure than in the hell of Sclessin. We couldn't lose much in Liège."
