Jacobs "I have a team that fights for each other"

An easy victory against Westerlo meant a satisfied coach after the game. "I didn't see any negative poins, except maybe the red card for De Man. I don't blame Mark, the group showed that they are more than just a team."


The trainer saw that that his team kept dominating and controlling the game, even with 10 men. "The team knew we had to give it our all, and that we did". so said the coach on the pressconference.

Anderlecht won their last six games. If their first round was better, they may had a chance to win the title. "As long as Standard isn't champian, it's still possible for us to win the title, although their are getting closer to the title each week."

Why is it that Anderlecht's second round is so much better then the first? "I think it's coincidence. Anderlecht's second round is always much better then their first. Next year, we should play on this level from the start of the season" so Jacobs ends the interview.
