Jacobs: "Never had problems with De Boeck"

There are a lot of former Anderlecht-players in the squad of Cercle, but the coach as well is a former player and assistent coach of Anderlecht, and thus knows most of the players very well.



Some say it will also be a match between the 2 former assistent-coaches of Anderlecht, but not according to Ariël Jacobs.

"If I didn't replace Glenn after he left Anderlecht, someone else would have. so says headcoach Jacobs to the belgian paper "Sportwereld". "I spoke with Glenn this week, and he told me he doesn't have a single problem with me. And I never had a problem with him, so I don't know what all the fuss is about.

De Boeck played almost his whole career for Anderlecht, and then became assistent-coach, and therefore knows the team very well, but that doesn't scare Jacobs.

"These days, thanks to the DVD and Video, it's easy to learn from other teams, that doens't frightened me. All that commotion about De Boeck his return isn't an issue in the dressing rooms, only in the papers".
