Overview of Friendly international matches

The Anderlecht players Guillaume Gillet and Luigi Pieroni came into action against Mbark Boussoufa's Morocco. There were also other players that have been called for an international match.


* Denmark - Czech Republic ended on a 1-1 draw. Anderlecht midfielder Jan Polak played for the whole 90 minutes.

* Marcin Wasilewski's Poland lost with a severe 3-0 result against the United States. The right-back of Les Mauves played the whole of the match.

* Also Roland Juhasz found himself on the losing side. The Hungarians lost at home with 0-1 from Slovenia. Juhasz also played for 90 minutes.

* Last, Ahmed Hassan couldn't stop Egypt from losing to Argentinia 2-0. Hassan himself played for 88 minutes.

Hassan gave a short reaction on the loss: "We didn't play like we wanted it", says the Egyptian. "We weren't sharp enough and we missed the presence of Amr Zaki."
