Vlcek Thanks Trainer for his Trust

With two goals last sunday, Stanislav Vlcek played a great part in the victory at Ghent. "With these goals, I thank the trainer for the trust that he has in me", the Czech told the newspapers.


"Up front, there is a lot of competition and that keeps everybody sharp", tells Vlcek. "But despite that competition, I get a lot of trust from the coach. That's why I am so glad that I was able to give something back, that I can thank him for his trust."

The Czech keeps dreaming about the title. "But I'm realistic. The difference with Standard is too big". Also the European Championship is a dream for Vlcek, who hasn't been called for the international friendly against Danemark. "It's a shame, but I hope that with my goals I will be able to draw the attention of the national coach"
