Leiva on strike

Christian Leiva, Anderlecht's Argentinian midfielder who's playing on loan for Charleroi, is on strike. He's even threatening to sue Anderlecht. Recently, Belgian law changed.


This means that foreigners can't benefit anymore from lower taxes on their salary. Anderlecht is compensating this loss for the players by giving them all a raise. But Leiva did not receive a raise and is therefore on strike.
