Anderlecht has defeated Bayern Munich with 1-2. This time the Mauves ended the game with 11 players and that made a difference. Lucio scored the opener, Akin equalised and Iakovenko brought RSCA ahead with a great shot.

Both sides made changes to their team. Kroos and Breno started on Bayern's side while trainer Jacobs brought Iakovenko and Sare in the team. Both would player an excellent game.

The first 15 minutes, Bayern dominated and created several chances. Lucio scored the 1-0 from an offside position with a header. Bayern had several other chances to double their lead, but failed to do so.

Anderlecht counter-attacked and managed to equalise via Serhat Akin on a center of Iakovenko. A bit later, that same Iakovenko's devestating shot from the tip of the box went against the nets: 1-2!

The second half started with Schollen as goalkeeper. Zitka was injured. Bayern put Anderlecht under pressure, but the defense, lead by Juhasz, didn't break. Soon, the Mauves took control over the game and created several chances to score again.

By the end of the game, Bayern was dangerous again via Ribéry, but he couldn't equalise. Anderlecht ended the UEFA-Cup with a victory...
